Cilegon, August 21 2021 – PT Trinseo Materials Indonesia helps the residents of RW 08 Garem Talang, Cilegon, Banten with their need for clean water, with the inauguration of a water well which coincides with RT 04 that expected to flow and meet the needs of clean water to all residents of RW 08. The inauguration is fully supported by the City Government Cilegon and Tunas Mekar Youth Organizations, warmly welcomed by residents of Gerem Talang RW 08. The inauguration was attended by Mr. Hanggara Sukandar as President Director of PT Trinseo Materials Indonesia and inaugurated with the Mayor of Cilegon, Helldy Agustian.
This event was attended by the Mayor of Cilegon as a form of cooperation between the company and the local government in developing the surrounding area, especially in RW 08 Gerem Talang sub-district. “I am so grateful that the inauguration of the Water Well Borehole for Gerem Talang RW 08 residents could be very useful, we hope this water well could help surrounding residents for their daily needs.” said Helldy feeling so proud could inaugurate water well borehole at RW 08.
Vice President of PT Trinseo Materials Indonesia, Hanggara Sukandar in his short interview feel happy can help RW 08 residents contribute without any additional cost the residents when build this clean water well borehole. “On this occasion we made so many programs to help people including sustainability programs as a part of many kinds that we could give benefit to the people around us. By building this water well borehole Gerem Talang residents especially RW 08, this could be useful maybe for daily needs.”
The difficulty of clean water around RW 08 residents has become a concern. This issue could bring PT Trinseo Materials Indonesia to help RW 08 residents that need clean water to provide them with daily needs. Mr. Herdi Rahmat as a HR & GA PT Trinseo act as a coordinator for this activity are also attended the inauguration of water well borehole. “We chose this location as a clean water well borehole not by chance, however, we want to build and help the environment around our city. This could benefit them. In accordance with the sustainability program as our main value. Not only just grow and develop for a short time but also sustainability advantages surrounding us.” The depth of this water well is estimated to be 43m, previously we digged near the main spot around 20 – 30 m but it didn’t work. Eventually on the third spot are finally made it that right now is the final spot for clean water well.
“I thank Trinseo Indonesia for helping our people who need clean water. On the future, finally we could provide clear water that previously is very difficult to get.” says Mr. Sarbai as a head of RW 08, Gerem Talang resident. There are so many Gerem Talang RW 08 residents, working as farmer, merchant dan factory labor. A side form fulfilled clean water needs for the residents, this water well borehole could help the workers especially for agricultural or farm that could fertilize their fields and help to get benefit for the farmers in Gerem Talang RW 08.
